I have thier F150 kit and have a few friends running jeep, F150 and F250 kits no problems and they replace anything that breaks offroad. If you want a quality lift BDS all the way, Life time warranty even if its your fault or if anything breaks or sags. You have a WJ? I have a WJ also and was looking into a lift for my Jeep. BDS makes a 4" lift but don't be detoured from the price its a quality product. CommonSyns Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 As for rims its your choice. What size rims do you currently have now? Being a WJ its either 16" or 17". Whats your tire size for the 16"s if you have them? Stock for WJ's on 16" rim is either 225/75R16 or 245/70R16 and if you wanted to do 31"s which is one step up from the 245/70R16 it is 245/75R16 which brings it up to a 31" tire. Or more accurately a 30.5 in metric standards for tires. Do you plan to do any off roading? If not then I suggest a 31" all season it should get you by in Mass, If you wanted to go even more aggressive you could go with an All Terrain or A/T, for that I suggest this tirefor that size, The duratrac should be snowflaked. GoodYear Wrangler DuraTrac. Actually I am running stock ATM 255/65R16 so you should be good with that size also but I don't really suggest it. There was almost no tire selection for me. Or you could go with 265/70R16 with no trim but If you want to trim you could go to 265/75R16. But again that's depending on your tire size. If you go with 245/75R16 you should be able to use stock wheels not sure about 265/70R16 its only .26" larger than the 245/75R16. But I assume you can. If you do lift your Jeep you will want bigger tires and wider tires. IMO It will feel very weird and you are more prone to roll over if you don't change tires. mike.coates88 Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 im a jeep guy.. i personally drive a yj with a 13" lift . running bds springs and as for companys.. rough country isnt bad but its not great ride really stiff... bds is a good company. stay away from rustys , superlift, procomp for springs,, (sag and ride not well) if u wanna do a budget kind of lift u can put front springs in rear and get 4" front coils... just make sure u get the control arms shocks and adjustable track bars.. unless 4linked.

x91evo Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 I am a real big Jeep enthusiastOn my 2000 Cherokee I run only Old Man Emu springs.They are based in Austraila so they experience rough roads everyday haha. The ride quality is amazing and their springs are rated for 550lbs each.Pretty good for the price of their springs.Not to mention anything over 4-6" is overkill IMO.For real offroading you want your suspension to flex, so your wheels contact the surface as much as possible.If your car is too high off the ground youre going to roll really easily.
