choyt1981
From what I can gather the sub doesn't require much. I for sure don't want the box to fill up the whole back end...maybe a corner under the rear deck...What do you have in mind? From what everyone I've talked to has said..go ported...your thoughts? john253a
if you cant build or have someone build a quilty box idd go sealed a single sa8v2 will take 1.2-1.4cuft gross of area in you trunk so yes a ported box will give you more db down low then a sealed box, it also takes up more space and is a bit harder to build, many on here can help you design, but not available on the shelf,(they are but never buy as there designed to suit 1000's of brands/sizes and not tailered to your car, needs or sub) ported would be my 1st chose I also like sealed boxes where/when space is at a premium, box is easier to build and also many are available off the shelf, if you can't build if your only after something to fill in the gap, and give you a bit more low end sound, with out the loss of too much trunk space, sealed would be the way to go then idd look at 2x sd2 10" in 1cuft net the box will be the same overall size as a single ported sa8v2, but i fell it may suit your needs a bit better
