kickeruser09 Posted February 5, 2013 Author Report Posted February 5, 2013 all the speaker wires, 8 gauge wire with ring terminals on the end, used 5/16 diameter bolts for speaker terminals, "stevemeadedesigns" style
SLAYER1805 Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 I had thoughts of putting 4 18's in a C Pillar wall in my Jeep, but it looks like that's a tight fit just for 4 15's. Awesome work man!
kickeruser09 Posted February 5, 2013 Author Report Posted February 5, 2013 i got this bracket idea off line on a jeep forum, you take off the ac compressor and bolt a piece of steal to the bracket that the ac compressor bolts too. i then put the alt on the piece of steal and put the belt on the alt, lining it up as best as i could and then i tack welded two tabs on the front of the bracket, then i pulled the steal plate off and welded the two front tabs on the plate good, bolted the alternator to the front two and welded a third tab on the back.
kickeruser09 Posted February 5, 2013 Author Report Posted February 5, 2013 btw, yea 4 18's would have to be like a b pillar wall lol, and put at a slant bc the four fifteens were definitely a close fit, my box is 25.75 ft^3.
