ineeDBass419 Posted March 31, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 31, 2013 WELL..........yesterday i started to feel a vibration around 3k rpm,i thought it had to do something to do with the transmission.it had nothing to do with that at all though... pop the hood tonight when im working on other stuff and i notice this.. the only thing i wonder is,why the hell didn't he use any loctite on these tiny screws?!? its irritating but not a huge problem,so im not to worried about it.still shitty it happened. how its sitting now.. this is one hell of an alt.sitting at idle earlier,warm starting at 13.8 dropping to 13.5 full tilt xbox 360 gamertag-greenrocks420 Not insulting you or anything, but did you just call us "bloody winging fairies" ? ineeDBass419 Posted May 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 7, 2013 figured i would quote this and put it here to keep the build log updated ive had a leak in my trunk for a while now and went to fix it yesterday.i found this so i cleaned it up and glassed the inside and outside then covered that with seam sealer after letting that dry for a while i sprayed it with some undercoat also saw that there was a leak twards the rear of the trunk so we dug out the old shit and put some new sealer in there and the inside all covered up hopefully that takes care of the leaks! also got the aluminum pulley cap in xbox 360 gamertag-greenrocks420 Not insulting you or anything, but did you just call us "bloody winging fairies" ? I was debating on what batteries to do in my sierra and was concidering those. I ended up going with 4 xs power d3400 sieries. Those would have been nice because they were about 100bucks cheaper per battery. Just wondering what you think of them. Im a fan of the bed liner look. Most of my stuff in my truck is sprayed on, havent tried rolling it. One thing I do is do some kind of (body)filler on all the seems/joints of your box if you just do one coat. No matter how flush your enclosure is the first layer of bed liner doesnt fill in the seems. It's a little extra work but I feel its worth it to run some bondo or what ever you prefer over all the seems while your filling in the screw holes. Again great work and keep it up!
