ive used ca glue de-activator and it tends to loosin it up pritty good, just dunno if it would hurt the paper cone, might could get some and put it on a cotton swab, then go around cust cap a little bit, give it a min and then exacto knife under the little lip on outside of dustcap

it worked when i was working on my 10's but they had carbon fiber cones so i unno, couldn't hurt any

that sounds good. Use deactivator, since it's a pretty fragile cone. Run that around it and absorb the glue with a cotton swab

I've never heard of ca glue de-activator, is that simply acetone?
