just buy the proper wire and install it. simple as that. if you have to twist multiple wires together to make it work, you're doing it wrong.

I recommend doing a few things
1. Replace your multiple 10 gauge wires with the proper wire size the amp asks for because
- Lack of sufficient power wire can cause voltage drops, and loss of output
- Poor ground or insufficient ground can also cause voltage drops.
2. Do the Big 3 if you haven't done it, it will help with the current draw, and add less resistance overall, plus it's require anyways for good aftermarket alts.
3. Build or have a proper box built for the 3 RE Subs, whether optimal ported or sealed(depending on the room), you'll thank me later when your subs get louder and lower.
4. If you haven't done so, get a voltmeter to monitor voltage, if you voltage drops below 12v, then you know something is up or too much power is being ran.

No clue what the alt is, my dad gave me my truck when i was 16 (im 23 now) and he put it in back when it was his, haven't done big 3 even tho i see it everywhere....to be honest i got interrupted with my install...didn't know i'd be moving till like a week before school started and thats when i got everything hooked up and made that video and took pics. I meant to at least do big 3 and put another battery in but didn't have the time.
