no electrical upgrades?

and why did you use such small wire? why not actual 4 gauge instead of twisted up 12 gauge?

i honestly dont see your stereo lasting very long man. inadequate electrical/wiring will be the cause if things stop working/start smoking.

Its 10g wire, I was going to order the rockford 0g but my dad had a ton of it sitting in his garage so i decided to use that first to see if i could get away with it. He put an aftermarket alternator in it a while ago too, lights dim a lot. I'm in college now but next time im home for break im gonna put a second battery in it and probably put bigger wire...ive had it hooked up for about 2 months and its works fine, i rarely ever blast it on full volume anyway i just like to have a lot of bass if i want it.

aftermarket from where? if it didn't cost like $400-500 then its probably garbage. sorry to seem like a dick, but its been proven true.

lights dim a lot because you're idling (most of the time, that is). when shit alt companies put big ass internals inside a stock alt casing, idle output goes into the trash (aka zero). then, since the stock alt casing was designed to dissipate X amount of heat, and you stuff in 3X the amount of internals, where is the heat going to go? into the components. and you know what happens when electrical components are severely heated up? they fail. then you're stuck on the side of the road in butt-fuck nowhere calling a tow truck that costs hundreds of dollars to get you back home and into the shop (or your driveway if you're mechanically inclined) where it costs even more money to fix the issue with a new alternator.

4 gauge by itself has more copper surface area than 3 runs of 10 gauge, judging by the wiki article on AWG.

too small of power/ground wire will cause light dimming.

those amps wont handle 0 gauge. you can run 0 from the underhood battery (hopefully you have the big 3 done too, because its a mistake if you dont) to the distro in the back, then split it off from there. but in order to fit that 0 gauge into those little amps, you're going to need to either A) trim off a shit ton of strands, B ) get 0 to 4 gauge reducers, or C) buy some 4 gauge.

Definitely might want to look into adding a fuse somewhere in there. Lol And what are you tuned to? Sounds really high. Nice rims though

he isn't tuned to anything. the box is sealed, and small at that.
