Thinking of trying something different

Hey Y'all,

Right now I am running a Pioneer GM-5500T in stereo. I am thinking of changing it to run mono. The specs are 125 @ 4 Ohms Stereo and 410 @ 2 Ohms Bridged... The Speakers are Pionner TS-W254R - 250 Watts RMS/ 1,100 Peak....

Using what I have been told about pro audio stuff that if I changed it to Bridge Mono the 410 would get split between both subs giving them 205 each....

Am I correct in what I am thinking????

It does 400W bridged at 4 ohms not two, not a 2 ohm stable amp.
