I will be adding a aq2200 to go with an orion ea3422 for my mids and highs. I currently have stock alt (90 amp), stock wires, stock battery with an 800 watt batcap in the back. I've done a billion calculations and done a ton of research and my head is spinning. I am looking for some advise or at least to be pointed in the right direction on the most efficient combo for upgrade. I am doing the big 3 upgrade for sure. What combo of battery and alt do I go with? I need 242 amps total (from my calculations). No one has my car listed (2012 Veloster) for alternators but I have a few quotes out and I am going to talk to local guy who may be able to get me one or upgrade what I have. Everyone local has very limited knowledge and after being taken a few times, I simply don't trust anyone around here. I get that no one likes/wants to tell me 'what' to get but I sure could use some expertise of where to go right now. I will also be running welding lead (0/1 gauge) for my big 3 upgrade and power/ground runs to the back of the car. If I've left anything out, please let me know. Thanks for the info before hand. Would my batcap in the back not be a simple unplug and replug the upgraded battery?
