TarponPride09
im seriously angry because I spend like 1300 bucks on an amp and subs and now I can't enjoy them for the reason I got them edit- the subs seemed to play just fine when I thought that they were pulling down. but the new problem is findng out and fixing the gargling noise coming from the insides of both subs My Myspace My 2002 Cadillac Escalade Build
Jcoleman134
Have you tried that test yet. and maybe try taking them out of the box and try looking to see if the coil still looks good.

TarponPride09
I took them out and the bronze colored coil seems alright. I don't have a good dmm so ill borrow one tomorrow and check it out. when I turned the amp on with the radio off they hummed and buzzed until I turned down the bass knob then it starts up again with the knob turned down My Myspace My 2002 Cadillac Escalade Build

TarponPride09
the positive and ground are connected to the positive and negative terminals of the kinetik and then there are 2 runs of 1/0 that that are connected from the positive and negative terminals of the kinetik and starting battery could that be it. because the starting battery isn't body gounded? TarponPride09
ok i got a dmm and it read 1.2 ohms for the two subs. today im going to get a body ground for the starting battery. somebody asked for a video to show excursion, but the problem is im not getting any. im actually getting de-excursion, the subs never break parallel with their starting position. also, somebody was talking about reverse polarities. could the poles of the magnet switched from north to south or something like that. thats all i can think of.
