Violet - Nates Veloster Build - Uploaded pics of new Singer Alt - 8/4/15

Recommended Posts

why are you redoing the box? why not just put some bondo around and sand it down to get a smooth finish? I like where it's going, keep it up. Plastidip is some amazing stuff :good:

Not redoing the box, just adding studs instead of wires from the inside. Also adding some bracing.

Thanks for the help guys. I feel much better about finding out what the issue is. they should cover it under warranty, but even if not its not an expensive part. At least I know now its not a constant voltage issue.

I'll do some setting tomorrow, some pasti dipping on the box tomorrow, and get it all in soon.

Looking for some suggested settings to set before I put my DD1 on these amps.

I have a Massive 7 EQ, two diamond audio comp in front (on 1/2 channel of 175) and two 6.5 Mid bass Cadence in the rear (on 3/4 channel of 175) and one Fi Bl 12 in ported tuned to 35 on a dc 2k.

Any suggestions for Massive, 175, and 2k? I tried taking a pic of the amps, but I am sure you guys know what I can set on these things. Point me to the promise land fellas... :)

Side note my voltage is staying around 14 pretty consistently. I still need to get this alt ordered and top off the front battery, but we seem to be figuring out these bugs slowly but surely.

Mike Singer is the only one who ever got back to me. There was one other (maybe Mechman?) who said they can't make one.

Got another package in from Sky High. Love these guys man. I will be a customer for life. This is going between the front and back batteries.

I didn't get anything done today because of the rain and the cold. I picked up some small pieces to finish off the plastic cover for the back battery. I still need to charge the front battery, but my voltage is still been holding strong at 14-14.4. I was able to get on the highs and mids a little today and they sound great. I just need to get my amps set and get the sub in. I should have it in the next few days.

Took a shot of the VM1 tonight. Love the look of all of it.
