Violet - Nates Veloster Build - Uploaded pics of new Singer Alt - 8/4/15

NIce, looking good so far. And a little tip on your plexi is if you get glue on it and stuff and your going to tint it anyways get some etching cream, it's cheap and easy to use and hides a ton of imperfections and still is transparent for the leds.

Thats the kind of tricks and tips I need. I'll try it out. Where would I find that?

Thanks purple. I'll probably redo this box after we move. It has a lot of flaws. I've just never done one. I think a second go at it, I could get it to look much better.

I always ordered from our supplier, I just googled and Wal-Mart popped up on there so it looks readily avaliable. Also etch the inside then spray the outside with the tint.

Got a lot done today. Should wrap up tomorrow. Only waiting on my Project db stuff that was put in the mail today. Hopefully tomorrow I can hear some sound.

IMG_5408.jpg

Wrapped up the last midbass. This was was the easiest since the seats and everything was out.

IMG_5409.jpg

Started running wires for VM1 and Bass control

IMG_5412.jpg

Everything installed under radio. Not perfect. I will remake this box, but I like the look and after a better made box I'll get the look I am going for.

IMG_5413.jpg

Starting on the amp rack.

IMG_5414.jpg

IMG_5415.jpg

Back of rack.

IMG_5416.jpg

Everything test fitted.

IMG_5417.jpg

Holes cut for wires.

IMG_5420.jpg

Wrapped in material and amps on. I love the look I pulled off.

IMG_5421.jpg

back

IMG_5422.jpg

IMG_5423.jpg

Everything in, back seats in place. Plenty of room.

IMG_5424.jpg

Back with seats up.

IMG_5425.jpg

Seats down from front.

IMG_5426.jpg

One more day and I can start some plasti on the outside and get her all cleaned up and banging again.

IMG_5418.png

These were put in the mail to me today from project DB! I cant wait to get them. Last piece, other than alt which is being worked on.

Wife hating the 'install beard'.

Few lesson learned from today. A- I hate shops who don't know what they are doing. I found 2 or 3 broken panels that they had broken and never said anything. I found all kinds of spliced wires just done lazy. B- I hate having to redo work because of a dumb mistake. :)

More tomorrow.

Im getting ready to go through the wife hating the install crap all over again, that barrel took SOOOOO LOOOOONGGG to modify correctly, I heard about it every day, which is why i started working on it at like 10pm-3 or 4 am most nights.

Its starting to warm up and I think the snow is gone so its about time to start finishing out my trunk, wine style
