joe you're right about the port length in your earlier post...but i think you mean 'effective port length' in the first part, instead of physical port length in both. just to clarify it so there's no confusion.

i may want to add that in the title of it as well......

I go by JL Audio terminology since all calculations on port tuning we do on here are derived from their paper:

Physical port length: It is the length of the port measured along it's center line end to end.

Effective port length: It is the physical port length plus the end correction for slot ports (and that's the length that determines tuning but no one cares about that one since the software calculates it for the user).

I guess "Physical port length" as used in your software I would call something like "non common wall(s) length" ... but that's only me of course....
