I wasn't sure if I could replace my stock battery with an xs d3400 and also run my orion hcca 15 on an American bass vfl 150.1 off of it or if I'd need an xs d3100. Pioneerchuck Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 I would say go with a D3100 for a little more wiggle room since you have the stock alt. You should in theory be fine with the larger 3100 and the stock alt with the upgraded big 3 but I would definitely recommend a 2nd battery or a bigger alt in the near future to keep down on voltage drop.
