I know with subs you can't mix 2 different subs on the same amp.. but with a multi channel can you run your mids and highs on the same amp? do they have to be all the same wattage or will the amp be able to tell that one sub can take more power than the other one and send each speaker the amount of power that it can handle? and how does it know to send the highs to the high speakers and the lows to the low speakers?

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

with Cross overs, weather it be passive with component speaker set up or active cross overs either thru your HU or with an EQ or external cross over or at the amp. Do lots of reading here on the forums and ask questions, if a few days or a week you will have a beter understanding.

You have to ask yourself what kind of system you want in your ride, SQ, SQL or SPL. Whats your budget? How much work are you willing to do your self or pay to have done. Make a plan, revise it, study, shop, save & install. Lots of trial & error.

Good luck

I like sq but considering I'm getting ready in a few months or so to drop 8kw in bass in my trunk it probably needs to have some volume too lol
