momofx76
I just read a few posts that say in order for aero ports to work correctly that you have to leave one diameter distance from the left and right side. Will there really be a big difference overall if I do not do this? For example, I am using three 6 inch aero ports and have about 3.5 inches in between them... Also the rear of my ports are pretty close to the rear of the box - approx. 2.5 inches away - is that too close or ok?
Sonic
3.5 inches between them would not be a problem, what would be the problem is the rear of the port so close to the rear of the box, minimum gap between the port rear and any wall should be the diameter of the port (6"). momofx76
Besides the tuning frequency going higher, will it make any difference in SPL or loudness if I did this?
