punkrockprs Posted May 24, 2013 Author Report Posted May 24, 2013 So my battery took a shit on me and my truck would not start so I went and got a battery from kragen. I really wanted a xs battery but I was 2 hours late for work as it is so I settled lol. Ended up getting the best they had available Wich is a optima gel red top. Truck starts alot faster and voltage with system going to my amp is 13.6-13.8 with system bumpin. Before it was at 12.9-13.2 so it did improve and my sub hits harder now then before. Probably cause now it's getting the right voltage to my amp. Can't wait till I upgrade to the 1/0 and build a new box! Then it'll get down! I also need to get some speaker wire! I wanna bypass the Bose amp cause i know my door speakers will be alot louder if I bypass it. Is that correct? Lol I know I need the impala kit for it but need some help with double din. I would like go get one from my work cause I get a discount and was looking at the Sony xav63 has anyone used this head unit before? It says it's only a 2v output I'd really like 4v but idk what double din won't break the bank that's 4v. Help?
