i was just asking because most ppl say the recommended enclosure sucks. ive never really heard they suck. just that they are overpriced.

I seriously learned a lot through trial and error, most store brand 12 inch woofers Ive ran can drastically benefit from being in an enclosure about 0.5- 1.5 cu ft larger than the manufacturers recommended specs, you just have to be sure the vent mach, aka port velocity stays in a certain range and you wont have power handling issues.

the problem for me is that im taking it to a shop so they can do the work. id just have to tell them what i want. changing things up trying to find the best enclosure can get pricey real fast.
