Audio-Concepts Posted February 18, 2013 Report Share Posted February 18, 2013 I have been on the forum for a while and had a previous build log which I will have locked, but now I am rebuilding the front stage and eventually will be rebuilding the substage. Those who have seen the original build know it has been on..off..on..off back n forth between different things. Well now I have done extensive research in working on a budget to set up my car the way I want it to be. So without furthur ado here is my new equipment list. Headunit- Alpine CDA-9886 Wiring- Knu RCA's- Knu Speaker wire- Knu Amplifier (frt stage) Linear Power 2.2HV Amplifier (sub stage) Tru Technology Hammer Frt. Stage speakers- (passive) Hertz HSK Hi-energy 3- way Sub stage- Onyx LSM 12" (for now) Processor- ( future plan) I will be using my existing door pods and pillar pods for the 6.5" & 3", but will be building tweeter pods in the factory location that will help with my imaging and staging. For those who dont remember this is where I ended!!! Doors and Pillars Sub-stage Stay tuned!!! SQ competition grade front stage in the works!!! Sub stage future will be going from a single 12" to a pair of 10" but that is in the future. But I need to modify my pillars for a little more clearance and rewire everything for the front stage! On top of that still waiting on the front stage amp which will be here as soon as possible!!! Not much will be changing with the front stage, unless it doesnt sound the way I want it too (reflection issues). Then I will be rebuilding the pillars and building accordingly! But the new amp should be here this week. So after that and warmer weather comes this build will start full bore with the possibility of a new enclosure and finishing off the trunk. Gonna be slow but will be worth the wait!
