13DevanteW6 Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 Hey guys, I just purchased a 2011 Honda Cr-Z and I was curious to know about the charging system. I would like to install the same system that I had in my previous car, into my Cr-Z. Currently I have 2 JL 13w6 subs, and an Audiopipe AP1500D to power them. Will the charging system in my new Honda be able to power these with ease? Or will I have to purchase better equipment for the charging system? I currently have an extra battery that I can install but i'm still worried. Thanks for the help!!
bcbrassard Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 Try the big 3 upgrade w/ 0 gauge. get a really good audio power battery under the hood and install your spare battery in the back with a run of 0 gauge to it. Then your run to your amp and that might do it, if not the last upgrade would be a HO altenator. Thats what i did - the altenator upgrade and its handling it fine so far. Running 2 RF T400-4 amps & a 1999 RF power bd1000a1 for T1D212" sub. I do have 2 Kenetic energy batteris in the trunk. 1 HC 1800 for sub amp & 1 HC600 for mids & highs amps.
