Chris Hammer Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 Gonna pick up a Earth-x battery for my sportbike in the next few days. only 60$ more than the stock battery and only weighs 1.3lbs vs the 7lbs my stock battery is. My brain was going and wondering why we don't see Lithium batts for car use or in audio? The weight savings would be huge and for people spending huge amounts of money on their ride the extra cost wouldn't be a big deal.. So I was trying to figure out why we don't see it. Is there discharge restrictions when it comes to lithium or is it a cost thing? Anyone that knows something about batteries care to chime in?
