Our cars call for a 51R battery and I had to squeeze my D5100R so I can't imagine having to fit a D3400 lol. Also was removing the rear speaker deck cover difficult? I basically just had to bend the battery tray all up. As for the rear speaker deck, you just remove the liner from the trunk and hammer up on the push pins from the bottom and it pops right out
