Carbon Posted March 28, 2013 Author Report Posted March 28, 2013 ummmmm, can the honda handle the extra 500-1000lbs going in it? Idk if the si has different suspension than a regular civic I hope so, we'll just have to see. The mugen si has upgraded suspension thats pretty stiff.

Does it really drive or accelerate like a sports car and where does the power band seem to be? 3-5 grand, 5-redine? The Mugen Si is basically a gas sipping civic family sedan with factory upgraded suspension, body kit and exhaust. It makes its power between 8,000 - 9,500 RPM. I have 220whp with I/H/E/Hondata

I got the l13a engine with the i-Dsi, pause-duali IVTEC and it kicks in yo at 3 grand, torques out at 4700, 6500 redline. 88hp if I am lucky. I test drove the crz, took it to 6500 and it was a dog above 30 mph. Couldnt tell if it had a power band or didnt take it high enough. Although Ive saved thousands in fuel with the insight it doesnt quite have the power for merging, cutting people off or passing people on the next exit ramp or shoulder. Couple that with the CVT and it feels like its slippin all the time. I think my next car will be the civic si 4 door like this one. Cant wait to see him build it up.
