tcullen1
I am needing a couple ?'s answered if someone will help here. 1st need to know what material is best to use for best results for bus bar between to batteries in trunk. I am adding a 2nd battery and also if someone can tell me if I have 2 runs of 0 gauge to rear battery do they both need fuse blocks in between both runs. Currently I have 2 runs of 0 gauge going to rear stinger battery and only one is fused with an 80 amp then from rear battery to both amps is a fused distribution block with 2 200 anl fuses. I have a bre2000.1d and a Diamond D6 700.4. My lights are still dimming after 1950 cranking amps from stock battery and spv70. I have 200 amp alt and big 3 done also so this is why I am adding 3rd battery. mikeg321
Best metal for buss bars would be silver, but that's not practical. Copper would be the next best followed by aluminium. All your + runs between front and back batteries should look like this, front batt.-----fuse-----------------fuse-----rear batt. If your running full spec copper 1/0 gauge use 250 amp fuses for your runs between batteries 4 fully loaded Fi sp4 15's 2 Crescendo bc5500s Crescendo c1100.4 6 focal mids Vifa tweets 5 XS Power d3100's Pioneer avh-p4200dvd All crammed into a mustang. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150569-mikeg321s-fi-nendo-mustang-getting-walled-videos-page-4/
