Wicks
You need a clip removal tool. I've never found THE actual tool but apparently most people just make their own. http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/car-audio/109539-jl-audio-500-1-transistor-clamps.html?postid=1317683#post1317683 http://www.bcae1.com/temp/removingspringclamps01.avi I've tried removing the clips on my DC2K just for fun and it didn't work, they are in there TIGHT and I didn't want to risk damaging any of the parts, so I just left it. So if you're going to do it, be careful, those FETs can be damaged pretty easily if too much force is applied to them. You'll also need a screwdriver and rubber mallet to pop them back on which is probably a whole other battle. Good luck, I hope it works for ya. That's a lot of work just to re-solder a simple RCA jack. Makes you wish these amp companies would use a little better parts than that.
