AI James
sounds like a virus i used to mess with friends with. id do a full scan and then do a defrag of the unit and see if its still there. also check your device manager to see if theres a conflict, uninstall the driver even if its fine and let it reinstall itself and see if it fixes the issue. Also about how longs it been going on?
razor5070
Nope not a virus, Not a conflict either... Hrmm more than likley the driver. I have used 3 or 4 different drivers. Uninstalled and reinstalled .. Ehh this is a fresh install of vista .. and has been happening for a week now, i reinstalled vista hoping it would fix the problem. jokanate88
I think its vista!! Because i have the same problem alot sometimes. And my specs for my pc is way highter that yours and it still happends to me. It might be a flaw in the OS. Hopefully the first service pack will fix it. pur3fknpawah
Try updating your audio driver. Sound card might be blown. Try downgrading your audio driver. Dont ever run beta's. Try downgrading to WINXP. If you have reltek audio uninstall it.
