Aero ports for Mayhem 15"

Recommended Posts

I'm about to rebuild the enclosure for my setup. I've never used aero ports before, but I've heard that they are more efficient and you don't have to have as much port area per foot with them. I'm expecting my new enclosure to have around 4.5 FT^3 before port displacement. I'm wanting to tune around 30-32 Hz. Can anyone give me an idea on what number of ports and diameter would work best?

I'm working with a really confined area for a setup this size. I appreciate any help.

My current setup is 4.12 FT^3, tuned around 35 HZ, port is slot 7X8X20, IIRC.

Proposed dimensions of box are 38WX 10HX 22.5 D1 18D2 (slanted back), The bottom of the box will actually sink into the spare tire well, allowing for approximately 2 ft^3 additional space.
