purplesyrup Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 if you got a 4 channel amp each channel running a door you basically would have to have the exact same setup in each channel right? or at least the same number and impedance of speakers? like you can't have the front being 2ohm and the back being 4 ohm? I'm asking because the way my stock speakers are set up I've got a speaker in the bottom of the front door but no speaker in the back doors my back speakers are handled by 6x9s behind the seat. I want to pull out the 6x9s and put a comp set in one of the panels in my back doors to run as my back speakers and in the front I was going to also put a comp set in that same panel in the front door but also put a comp set where the stock speaker was also. which would wind up with either me having to use a seperate amp to run the second set of speakers in my front doors or having different impotences. You missed one, lol

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.
