willwork4beer Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 Well here is where I'm at, my plans are to run roughly between 2000-3000 watts for my daily. Big three 0 gauge kit will be my first order of business. My alternator I believe is 85 amps at the most (I drive a small 4 cylinder Honda ) Eventually I'd like to upgrade the alt. But at this point I still have alot of saving to do. How many batteries and what type would I need in the rear? What should I upgrade my main battery to? Is it better to have multiple runs? Just trying to get the max from my amplifiers. Do people usually run multiple batteries or is it better to just run a single higher rated batt?? Sorry for the rambling and load of questions, just haven't tapped into this area yet, sorry. All input helps alot! Thanks
