You will most likely pay more than 300 bucks but you wont have to worry about it crapping out on you like you would with a random ebay alt. Expect to pay between $400-600. BUT realize that a decent unit from singer, mechman or DC will more than likely last the life of the vehicle , if not exceed it. An ebay alt is a toss up. It might last a year, might crap out after a week. Why keep pissing money away and dealing with the hassle of troubleshooting problems on junk ebay alts when you can buy a unit that will not only last but save you time and effort dealing with the problems inherent to cheat alts?
