Soundqubed/AQ Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 Whats that sq2200.1 run at 2 ohm? Im only seeing a linked 2ohm of 4400 The AQ/SQ2200D does 1300 watts at 2 ohms.

Azzazel_99 Posted March 14, 2013 Author Report Posted March 14, 2013 I wanna add another question my current amp reads on the gain 9v on the low set and goes clockwise to 0.2v. My deck is 2.5v preouts but its hooked up to a 7v clarion eq so the amp gain idealy should be set to 7v? If thats correct which is what the book says on the amp to set gain to match source volt then why in the heck is there very little bass when amp is set at 7v? I have to turn it up about 60% of the way to get some good output from the subs. Do i just ignore the source matching and use ohms law and match the output voltage to the subs?

My electrical is built a tad tho. Umm. The new brx line or the last gen brz line are all good. Hifonics and maxxsonics in general are turning around i believe. However the aq are also reviewed well so idk. Do whatever ur pocketbook desires 2003 f150, 2 ab hd 15 on brutus 2400.1, kinetik batt, big 3, knu wire, image dynamics cxs 6.5 with ppi tweets, pioneer 1din and clarion eq.
Azzazel_99 Posted March 18, 2013 Author Report Posted March 18, 2013 I say im not seeing rated power because the brz's are power hungry and not the most efficient amps. Once i add a extra battery or two i will be more likely to see the rated power at the 14.4 they r rated at
