Azzazel_99
Im not much into buying used product as i like to buy my stuff brand new so i know how its been treated and whats its been put through. Im having trouble finding prices on the aq2200 and aq3500. Whats a good price to pay for those amps. Im running 2 l7's runnin at 2 ohms so im wanting at least 1500rms at 2 ohms and im just not getting it with the hifonics 2100.1D so i've been reading up onthe aq's. whats the pro's and con's and what should i expect from these amps. Which would you buy of those 2 and why? Im not planning on competing but i would like to be anle to flex things and just over all be impressive. When i do get tired of or blow these l7's im probably going to be switching to the sa12's but for now its the l7's. input is much appreciated. Watch the bass
http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-2200D_p_31.html here the site AQ have changed there name to SQ. Here is a link to a Ebay auction of a Bnib Hifonics BRZ 2400 they does 1700 on 2 Ohm´s. In the last times they sell the BRZ line out, but it was the only reliable line of Hifonic´s. The normal new Ebayprice was something over 300 $. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hifonics-Brutus-BRZ2400-1D-Car-Amplifier-/290878429694?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item43b9b499fe "in the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty" Bob Marley
Azzazel_99
I dont so much mind the brz stuff as i own the 2100.1D but is the sq2200.1d alot more efficient or would i be just as well off strapping another 2100.1D brz amp?
Azzazel_99
Strictly as a price stand point i dont wanna turn this into a vs thread so im trying to tread carefully on my questions.
Swordlordboy1234
I'd seriously check into AQ, and if its in your budget get that 3500. If your like any other bass head its good to have headroom for when your ready to expand that way you don't gotta replace EVERYTHING. Hifonics is great stuff just lots of inefficiency in my opinion. Solid products on both sides. Joshex
I bought my AQ1200d from a private seller and I love it. It's very efficient and runs like a champ. I've bought a lot of used products, so that's just me. I've heard numerous good things about AQ and their reliability, I also heard it's hard to actually hurt these amps as well. 95 Acura Integra - 5-speedNFG Pioneer FH-X700BT(2) Rockford Fosgate 12" P3AQ1200dRockford Fosgate P1652-S 6.5" components Rockford Fosgate P1572 5x7"Rockford Fosgate R400.4 95 Integra Build Here93 EJ2 Build Here

Great minds think alike. We both support Hondas and think AQ is strong stuff. That´s sound like arround 3 K watt RMS, with some losses of boxrise, good electrical system and proper set gain´s could work. For gainsetting have a look the audio-tools map, maby you find someone near who can help you setting gains http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/137758-smd-audio-tools-map/.
