Joe X Posted March 22, 2013 Report Share Posted March 22, 2013 Yesterday the dimensions of your box were looking bad (if were posted correctly), also didn't tell how subs an port were aimed. Anyways port kerfing increases port efficiency just as aero port flares do, kerfing elsewhere has little or no effect on performance. When you calc your box, you add as displacement the loss of internal volume all kerfs cause. Kerfs are hard to do and if you use proper port area chances are you won't need them at least in daily box projects. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
