12-16 on slot ports. Areos you can have a smaller port. The reason i asked about the coils is they cool different. Your current box is probly good just needs more port. With you running more then rms to them they need a smaller box to control the cone better. Can you give me all the dim. To you current box? W,L,H and the length of the areos.

ok so, my current box dimensions are as followed:

L= 35 3/4 in

H= 23 3/4 in

w= 27 1/4 in

Due to it being double plate all the way around its roughly 9.5 before displacement. i was off before because that was off a guess.

Post your maximum dimensions for a box (height, width, depth) to see what can be done.

max dims: 10.57 cubes, thats pushing while factoring in the distance from aeros to hatch

Well here is what you had:

L= 35 3/4 in

H= 23 3/4 in

w= 27 1/4 in

2 x 6" aero 7.3" long

1 1/2" all around

That box specs 8.8 cubes net @ 38.3Hz 56.6 square inches of port.

And here is a suggestion:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 39.7 Hz

Vb = 9 ft^3

External Height = 23.5 in

External Width = 41 in

External Depth = 23.5 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 41 x 23 1/2

Left & Right Sides = 22 x 21 1/4

Front & Back = 41 x 21 1/4

Port Quantity and Dimensions:

Number of Ports = 4

Pipe Port Diameter = 6

Pipe Port Length = 17

This increases your port area which was low, since this is not 1.5" thick wood all around but just the baffle, you should use heavy threaded metallic bracing.
