dadb Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 Just got a sa 8 v2 d2. I built the box to the specs that are used in the "Ported Box Design: A Tutorial" in this section. It is ..75 cu ft tuned 33 hz, I must say the box and woofer work very well together, I am running it on a sae 1000d and I don't think the wife is going to let me leave it in her ride, so I may have a woofer for the work truck!
john253a Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 Just turn the gain or sub volume down so u get an even or nice blend of bass to mid/highs Then you'll have less complaints I run mine at -4 normally and 0 when I'm on my own
