Go-N-Def Posted March 29, 2013 Report Posted March 29, 2013 Is 1/0 ga wire ok to run for batt front to back? Why is it that ppl fuse batt's with 300 amp fuses? If I can't find exactly the fuse my amp needs what do i use? My amp needs 140 but I can only find 150 amp Yo dog i heard you like boxes. so i put a box inside a box so you can bass while you FAIL
Ben Fultz Posted March 29, 2013 Report Posted March 29, 2013 #1 yes 1/0 is good #2 because you fuse to the wires amperage capacity #3 you should use a smaller fuse than it calls for if you can't find the right 1( imo anyways) I'd rather the fuse pop at a lower amperage than a higher amperage than the amp can take. But a 150 should be fine.

Ben Fultz Posted March 29, 2013 Report Posted March 29, 2013 10 amps higher, probably not. Now if it was supposed to be 140 and you put say 250, then I'd be worried.
