SkarredSierra Posted April 7, 2013 Report Posted April 7, 2013 doing the big 3 in zero gauge never hurts tho. and when you hook up your amp do not ground it to the cap. you have to ground it seperate. the resistor is not installed with the cap. you just use that to charge it. as far as wiring goes on your subs try going to the12volt.com they have wiring diagrams on there. ive used caps alot in lower watt systems and they always seem to work ok. but alot of people trash on them. while i will say that extra batteries are alot better the cap is an ok cheaper alternative for anything around 1000 rms. i would get another battery or power cell before to much longer tho just to be safe.
