What Do You Think About This

so im already tired of my crappy prefab box and i want to get a head start on designing my first custom box and this is my plan

dimensions: height: 16, width: 23, depth: 17

if i calculated right it should be around 2.79ft^3

i plan on just using 1.5in radius pvc about 5in long giving me a tuning of 31hz if the calc. is right

im not making a huge box cause i want a little bit of trunk space

the current box is 1.8cb and tuned around 40hz but it cant hit lows to save its life

i just want a clean loud good sound daily box that isnt gigantic

i already posted my plan for amatt to see what i would get

i just wanted to get your opinion on this.

i plan on just getting home depot or lows to cut the wood and holes if they do that i heard they did if so then ill do that cause i dont have good enough tools to do it and not enough money to buy them

Watch their cuts though. None of their cuts are very precise nor perfectly 90 for whatever reason...

i could make the cuts i dont think i could do the holes though

All you need is a cheap jigsaw. Find a plumber neighbor for a hole saw kit! Or electrician! Every neighborhood has to have at least one of those on their street!

I use a 25 year old craftsman jigsaw for my boxes....with a new blade it cuts just like a brand new one
