herbykw
My wife and I decided to get some bikes to save gas during the summer. we went through the motorcycle safety course last summer. We looked for a couple good bikes for cheap. I found a 99 Gsxr 750 for a great price. I removed the handlebar mirrors and put normal ones on it. It came with a Yoshimura exhaust, K&N power commander and air filter. My wife is short, so it was hard to find a bike she could reach the ground on. We were able to find her a 02 Ninja 250 06 300C 5.7 Hemi K&N CAI JVC KW-AVX640 6.1" DVD DC Audio 3.5k 6 DC Audio 8"s 6 cubes 8" aero port at 32hrtz http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183798-chrysler-300c-8-build/?p=2731834#entry2731834

herbykw
So over the last few days my buddy and I have done some work on our bikes. When I bought my bike, for some reason there was no horn. I went to harbor freight and seen a $15 air horn set up. I figured I would give it a shot. Turned out pretty neat. Not super loud, but it was easy, and its better then nothing. The compressor is in the trunk and the two horns are under the rear fender up behind the license. My buddy has basically the same bike. His is a 98 GSXR750. He bought a new undertail light setup. We got it all set up. Looks nice. Today I installed some lowering links. Just dropped it one notch. I like it. It dropped the tail about an inch and a half. 06 300C 5.7 Hemi K&N CAI JVC KW-AVX640 6.1" DVD DC Audio 3.5k 6 DC Audio 8"s 6 cubes 8" aero port at 32hrtz http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183798-chrysler-300c-8-build/?p=2731834#entry2731834

herbykw
So I took on another project last night. I started my K3 tail conversion. I have never tried anything like this before. Bought the subframe, body and seats from a guy on Craigslist. It was a black tail with white leather seats. Stock 1999 2003 side by side comparing subframes Removal The new subframe had the lower bar cut down. I didn't want it to stick up too high. I had 2.5" cut out. The inner plastics had to be trimmed down to fit over the shock bracket. The tank hinge/ mount had to be cut down, pretty far. I left as much as possible to support Fitting the wires and relays were a huge pain in the butt. I had to cut the bracket into thirds to get everything hidden, then remove the inner plastics and frame multiple times to get it sat right. Finally got it together, and my buddy Tearle helped a lot. He modified the SRAD tail light to sit perfectly under the tail, and modified the blinker mounts, and relocated the license plate holder. Turned out fantastic I had to trim down the plastic under the seat to fit. After a few hours, it was fitted up nicely 06 300C 5.7 Hemi K&N CAI JVC KW-AVX640 6.1" DVD DC Audio 3.5k 6 DC Audio 8"s 6 cubes 8" aero port at 32hrtz http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183798-chrysler-300c-8-build/?p=2731834#entry2731834
herbykw
When it came time to take her out for a test ride, the damn thing wouldn't start. Never had a problem with it before, then the battery died... I was a little irritated. Hours later, lots of googling, I learned something. this piece here.... Is called a tip over sensor, if you relocate it and do not mount it right, your bike won't start, if it does, it will die. POS!!! Battery charged up and everything Is good to go! To her for a test run, and the K3 seat is so much more comfortable. Next thing... Color. The white seats much GO, and it looks like crap 3 different colors. 06 300C 5.7 Hemi K&N CAI JVC KW-AVX640 6.1" DVD DC Audio 3.5k 6 DC Audio 8"s 6 cubes 8" aero port at 32hrtz http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183798-chrysler-300c-8-build/?p=2731834#entry2731834
herbykw
now that the work was done, it was too many colors, I pulled the tail off and plasti dipped the tail and tank, doesn't look too bad. Wasn't completely dry yet Ordered a rear cowl, plasti dipped and good to go! I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out so far. 06 300C 5.7 Hemi K&N CAI JVC KW-AVX640 6.1" DVD DC Audio 3.5k 6 DC Audio 8"s 6 cubes 8" aero port at 32hrtz http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183798-chrysler-300c-8-build/?p=2731834#entry2731834
