andy.
What are y'all using to paint door panels? It'll be MDF and bondo and of course primered.
NYC54
If your painting over Fiberglas and body filler , you should use a high build primer like 2 k and automotive paint of your choice , if your going to wrap it I would use sem paint color matched to your interior
Pioneerchuck
if you're looking for inexpensive, dupli color is probably the best way to go. I think they sell for like $15 a quart for auto paint and primers. If you want like top quality paint I'd recommend using PPG paints and primers. But that of course is my opinion. Im sure everyone has their own favorites. Lol but yeah for primers a good high build primer is what you want because it will fill in the little dips and dents in the bondo that you couldn't work out. andy.
I already have the SEM texture paint, was wondering what paint to best match factory Chevy truck gray interior. Don't want it shiny, just trying to make it look like it came from the factory this way.
Pioneerchuck
If that's the case then use the SEM Classic Coat paint. It's literally the same paint they use from the factory to paint some of the interior pieces. Just make sure you do the prep work. Prep work will make or break a paint job in any case.
