fatboi Posted April 7, 2013 Report Posted April 7, 2013 I am trying to build up me truck and checked out the new skar amps. The sk-1500 rms at 2 0hms linked is 2700+ watts. I am kinda green to car audio so the question might seem stupid. Every forum i looked at said that it is not possible to link 2 amps together. yet they also said no sub can handle 2000 watts so i think they know less then i do. Is there a correct way to hook 2 amps up together to get one wattage to a speaker? Any help would be appreciated and an explanation as to how. Thank You
OrzechNJ Posted April 7, 2013 Report Posted April 7, 2013 yes u can do that , but since u r beginner I would go with single amp.. much easier! and theres a bunch of subs that can handle 2k watts.. sometimes Loud is NOT pretty Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over.
