RobertR
I am running a pair of sa-12 d4's in a 4 cube box tuned at 35. I have a chance to pick up an almost new Digital Design m1c for a decent price. ($250) It will see 14.8 v. My question is will it be enough to get the sa12-s moving? I currently have an re xtx 3000.1 but im not happy with it. RobertR
Thanks for the info. Im really trying to get opinions with out turning this into a vs thread. I hate to drop the cash and make the hour and a half drive if its not worth switching amps. Pioneerchuck
Yeah I mean technically speaking they're both going to put out around the same amount of power. But in my opinion I would think the DD would perform better than the RE with your system
RobertR
specs.......the re puts out 1400 at 1 ohm at 14.4v the dd puts out 1200 ish at 1 ohm at 12v and 1700 at alternator charging lvls. ( what ever the hell that is) At idle my amp will see 14.6 to 14.8. So yeah pretty close.
