shogen Posted April 17, 2013 Report Share Posted April 17, 2013 What are your crossover points? you're running them with the passive crossover??? the tweets frequencies change when they are pointed away. it sounds more subdued in the killer high frequencies but the distortion is still there when i turned them up. i lowered the DB going to the tweets to stop the distortion but i was not able to get them loud enough to be able to clearly hear vocals. the largest boost in high range frequencies ive gotten has been from replacing my 6.5's to the 10's. the tweets sound great until the volume goes up and then they get kinda unstable. the frequency curve to volume seems to get skewed. there are spikes in a few ranges that over power and distort Pioneer Premier P880PRS ll Front Stage: US Acoustics 4060 - Random speakers currently ll Sub Stage: Crescendo BC3500D - 15" Xcon sealed @ 3.28 cubes ll Electrical: - Kinetik HC1800(front) NEW***DieHard P-2(rear) beaker- I know this sounds like a lot of anime bullshit, but it is true.
