Bus bars

Hey everyone first time post, I just have a few questions about bus bars. I think I already know how to do it but I want to make sure before I set it up and mess something up. I think you just run 0 gauge wire from the battery to the bus bar then have different stainless steel bolts runnin in the bar. Then you just hook up your amps from the different bolts on the bar. Am I right? Any positive feedback will be greatly appreciated thanks

From your description its hard to tell if you have it right or not. Just do a search on here and you will find lots of pictures of the setups. Looking at the pics should make things pretty clear.

u can use the same bolt on the bus bar it dont matter since everything is nice and tight..

Yea you are right on track, when using bus bars you are basically turning your battery bank into a big distribution block. One for Positives, one for negatives.
