daviddavid Posted April 24, 2013 Report Share Posted April 24, 2013 I am looking into purchasing an audio pipe 1000d amp for two Jl audio 15w0v3-4, I am currently pushing them with an ATX1000.1 autotek amp and am looking for something better, the subs are 500 watt RMS, what would be a good amp to push them with? Channels 1 Ch Class D Power (Max) 1000 Watts Power (RMS) 1 Ch @ 4Ω - 400W 1 Ch @ 2Ω - 600W 1 Ch @ 1Ω - 1000W Frequency Resp. 8Hz - 180KHz S/N Ratio 70dB Bass Boost 30-80Hz Input Sensitivity 0.2-5V Subsonic Filter 5-50Hz Low Pass Filter 40-180Hz Dimension (LxWxH) 288x176x55mm the w0v3's are 4 ohm subs, and Im running 2 gauge rockford power back through a 200 amp breaker. crandis: what exactly is "dirty power" I'm no where near knowledgable on this stuff yet unfortunately Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

daviddavid Posted April 24, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 24, 2013 kranny, would i want to wire the subs down in parallel to 2 ohms to get that power? also would putting each sub in the same terminal, both positive leads and both negative leads off of each sub wire them down to 2?
