Solid budget amp. 8ight didn't seem to have any problem with the gut pics I posted....good enough for me and my budget build. Hey major shout! I don't see a problem with the new PPI amps at all, they aren't the most badass stuff around since (at least with the Black Ice series) they are competing with Maxxsonics (Hifonics/MB Quart). I would expect these amps to output their rated power and not much more. PPI is now owned by Power Acoustik so I don't know how their support is or if there is any and that would be the only thing turning me off of these amps as a good value pick. I've had mine for a year no problems. BUT so I've never dealt with their CS. But if its aomeething OP is worried about I would get it from Sonic and pay a little more for their CS. Justscrap Posted April 26, 2013 Author Report Posted April 26, 2013 Good to hear fella's....and yeah I was looking to get it from sonic "IF" I decide on this budget amp. I just got the phantom series 900.4 so looking for a bigger mono block. I was gonna go with the phantom series 1000.1 but I'm looking for more power. I really like the size of the phantom series,there hella small! And I seen nothing but good reviews on the 900.4 so pulled the trigger on one. if you put a DD-1 in your amp terminal and it immediately went up in smoke, i would be concerned. If you shoved your dick in the terminal and it didn't blow up but a month later it blew up, i STILL WOULDN'T be able to blame your dick. It just does not make sense at all.
