Ithertz84 Posted April 27, 2013 Author Report Posted April 27, 2013 what would be best is if you decide to do it your self or let a shop do it. then if you decide to do it yourself research how everything is done there are plenty fiberglass vids an threads an vids on how to hook 2 amps then after all your research try it out when you get stuck somewhere then ask for help not before you start build!!!!! True! Ok thanks. I just want a little advice b4 I make my decision.. Ill do that, just watch vids on fiberglassing. Thanks. Sorry for my post, I just try to work around what happen to JP saying if I let a shop or a Prefessional on here do my build I'm goin to inspect it perfect b4 I pay.
newschoolsoundz Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 also this is not a weekend job like you posted glassin may take that long alone
Ithertz84 Posted April 27, 2013 Author Report Posted April 27, 2013 so your looking for someone with a big name to do your build? do you even have any equipment yet? I have, iPad,cdplayer, waiting on amps (come in may,New company) tons of 0 gauge,2 Xspower batteries, not order subs til my amps get here. An idk what speaker to run just yet, I'm doin lots of research now, an HD speakers got my vote so far, I'm just asking around what's the best speakers for vocals.
Ithertz84 Posted April 27, 2013 Author Report Posted April 27, 2013 also this is not a weekend job like you posted glassin may take that long alone Only y I say weekend cause that's the only time I'm off work an home to work on it.
newschoolsoundz Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 im guessing you haven't done many builds at all? am i right? normally if you plan better end product will turn out better decide what amps an subs match up best in your price range then decide on how many battery's are needed to power an so on an so forth. also when askin questions or for help on your build always post what equipment you have that will help alot

My last build I install my self was 2 10" XL,3250.1 rd amp.alt an 2 xs batts, biggest install I done. (Was fn loud) ok my new set up is 2 15" tantric shds handle 5k rms an 2 3800.1 ampere audio an it's 125.4 (not 200.4 typo) (all my amps same name brand) . An no budget on this build. All I need is speakers for vocals, keep up wit bass. So if I can find out what speakers to run i will do research like I'm doin now. If I can get away wit just replacing my stock speakers, wit after market speakers an just run tweets in pillars. ill love do that so I don't have to add speakers to doors,(3 6.5 an supertweet)so I can hear words when I'm full tilt an demoing.
newschoolsoundz Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 focal speakers .highs is what vocals are known as
Aidan Hansen Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 i have question if you do all your installs yourself why not do it yourself ? I never hook up 2 amps to 2 subs. I always had 1 big amp for both subs Sorry, but on this part. You've hooked up two subs to one amp and your saying it's more difficult to wire one sub up to one amp twice? I find the opposite to be harder. ^Vehicle log to come soon for this.^

If they're I'd do that because gain matching both amps to each other is more work then having them strapped and tuning just the master amp because slave will use same settings as master when strapped. ^Vehicle log to come soon for this.^
