maademperor
So I've been considering these: http://sonicelectronix.com/item_4025_Bosto...tics+PRO50.html to replace my Infinity Kappa's up front (they sound pretty harsh sometimes and I've only ever heard good things about BA). They are listed at 3ohm impedance though, so should I be looking at the 4ohm RMS power spec amp to power them or should I expect them to pull wattage between the 2ohm and 4ohm rating the amp says it can provide? Now, I also intend to move the Kappa's to the back and power them all off the same 4ch amp, with gain set especially low on the rear channel, can I feel safe buying a beefy enough amp to power the Boston Acoustics up front at 125watts RMS and the Kappa's in the rear at 75watts RMS? and finally, any suggestions on a good 4ch amp for this? For the money, can I do better at that size and depth than the Boston Acoustics IYO? thanks guys,

maademperor
nevermind I got my answer from crutchfield/Boston Acoustics CS basically, more power is better. just operate at 4ohms and give as close to 125rms as possible... wL<3bass
I know a guy at a high-end(HIGH PRICED) local car audio shop and he is running the rockford power-1000 "25 to life" on those specific components and they scream the amp is "rated" at 50w x 4 @ 4ohm and 100w x 4 @ 2ohm but this is a rf amp so expect more hope this helps. wL<3bass
since those amps are extremely hard to get ahold of, I would go with the Rockford Fosgate Power T8004 Vehicle: 1997 S10 Blazer 4dr 4X4 Exterior: Rear End Bagged, Black Grill, Lifted 2" Amplifiers: Rockford Fosgate T8004 & T10001bd Batteries: 2 Stinger SPV35, Kinetik HC2400 Electrical: Big 3, DC Power 290amp Alternator w/ MLA at 15.5v Enclosure: 4.2 ft³ @ 33Hz 84sq.in. of port (20sq.in. per cube) Headunit: Eclipse CD3200 w/ 80G iPod Mids/Highs: Rockford T152s (a-pillars), Rockford T162s (doors) Subwoofers: 1 15" Fi BL Fully Loaded Wire: All 1/0g Kicker Hyperflex My YouTube Videos My Fiberglass A-Pillar Build My "Seamless" Looking Box Build My DD1508 T-Line Bandpass Build "Seamless" w/ Acrylic Windows (for '05 TrailBlazer) My Stealth 8" Fiberglass Build (for '05 TrailBlazer) My Build For A Friend's '08 Cobalt 15" BL Sealed Off From The Trunk My feedback/references...
