Adding a second ZR1000 to two 15" L7's - wiring questions

I currently have two 4 ohm DVCs bridged down and being pushed by a single ZR1000, one sub per channel. While it does sound good, they are in a vented enclosure (5.6 cu ft per sub) I have been told they are definitely under powered and I need to add more power to really get them moving. So I have lucked up and found another ZR1000, now I am on the fence as to how to wire them up:

option A: add another terminal cup per sub and then go straight across - one coil per channel

Option B: leave the subs bridged and bridge the amp as well

I know that as a rule these amp are pretty underrated and push more than the 1,000 watts rms that the subs are rated at and i do not want to blow anything.

Im sure that someone here has done something similar and can give some insight as to what is the best way to go.

One sub to each bridged amp coils wired in parallel, this will put 700 nominal watts to each sub. But this could have been done better and simpler with a single 2K amp @ 1 ohm.
