lmao they deff wont be seeing fuckin 300 watts lol wtf my shit wont be dropping down to some 10.0 voltage

box rise. look it up. who cares if you're holding 14v when the impedance quadruples the minute you press play and turn the knob.

this guy near me has 12 15's on 4 aq 3500.1's. he clamped like 7-8k total at a show the other week.

Very true. I am running just shy of double my subs rms, but in reality they really aren't getting that much power. Between voltage drop and box rise, life sucks sometimes lol.

i kinda wanted to strap 2 aq2200.1s to my icons but i am nervous about counting on box rise to not over power my subs. Its a lose lose. An amp that matches my power needed might actually be too small. But if you get an amp to account for box rise and blow your subs you look dumb for putting too much power to them.

Currently im happy with my set up. Im Sure i could get more out of my subs but i cant really afford to push the limits. So for now ill keep my gains in check and enjoy what i have. If i rise to 4 ohm thats fine because i know on some frequencies ill drop below 1. (Sorry for thread jacking)
